To qualify for the Stamps Scholars Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

If a scholar’s GPA falls below this threshold after their second semester of freshman year or at any subsequent semester, they will enter scholarship probation, allowing them to retain the scholarship for one additional semester. Scholars must then raise their GPA above 3.0 to continue receiving the award. If the GPA remains below 3.0 for two consecutive semesters, the scholarship will be revoked, although it can be reinstated if the GPA improves to 3.0 or higher.
Furthermore, scholars must maintain good academic and disciplinary standing. If a scholar faces academic or disciplinary probation or dismissal, they will automatically forfeit their scholarship and scholar status.
The scholarship is available for up to eight semesters (ten for the five-year Architecture program), and eligibility does not extend for any semesters where requirements were not met.

- A fully-funded, week-long Outward Bound Wilderness Leadership Canoe Expedition in Minnesota’s Boundary Waters.
- An enrichment fund of $12,000, which encompasses the cost of the Outward Bound program, available for self-designed enrichment projects approved by the Notre Dame Scholars’ Program. This fund can be utilized for various pursuits such as study abroad opportunities, unpaid service, research, internships, or creative projects that align with the scholar’s personal and professional aspirations.
