  • Two letters of recommendation, including one from an expert based in another country.
  • An invitation letter from one of the host institutions listed on the TWAS website, printed on official letterhead. This letter should specify the duration of the visit (ideally two to three months) and outline the intended research collaboration. It should clearly indicate prior communication between you and the host regarding the scientific work planned during your visit, as well as any agreed-upon conditions.
