Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Imfundo Trust Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
- Current Enrollment: Applicants should currently be in Grade 12 or in their first year at university (excluding postgraduate Climate Studies).
- Academic Performance: Grade 12 Applicants: Must achieve an average of at least 70% in mid-year examinations, with a minimum of 70% in Mathematics and either 70% in English First Additional Language (FAL) or 60% in English Home Language (HL).
- First-Year University Applicants: Must achieve an average of at least 65% in mid-year examinations.
- Preference for Rural and Township Backgrounds: Applicants from these backgrounds will be given preference.
