This scholarship program is designed to support students pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees that are entirely taught in English at the University of Padua. Numerous funding opportunities are available, making it a popular choice among international students.

Only candidates who demonstrate exceptional academic performance and achievements will be considered for these scholarships. Successful recipients will be expected to take on an ambassadorial role, representing the University at various events.

University of Padua International Excellence Scholarship 2025 | DETAILS

The University of Padua offers scholarships to exceptionally talented students who wish to pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree fully taught in English in Padua. This scholarship program is highly competitive.

Scholarship Amount: The scholarship includes a fee-waiver and a gross amount of €8,000 per academic year. The only cost that successful students will need to cover each year is an admission fee, which corresponds to the regional tax and marca da bollo.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

To be eligible for the University of Padua International Excellence Scholarships 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:

International Status: Applicants must be international students.

Program Admission: Candidates must be admitted to a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.

Subject Areas: The scholarship is available for Bachelor’s or Master’s courses in Food and Wine and Sustainable Agriculture offered at the University.

Citizenship: Applicants should not hold Italian citizenship (except for those with dual citizenship that includes Italian).

Educational Background: Candidates must possess a non-Italian foreign secondary school diploma (for Bachelor’s or Single-cycle degrees) or a non-Italian Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s degrees) that qualifies them for admission to the Italian University system.

Residency: Applicants must not currently reside in Italy.

Program Application: Candidates must apply to one or more of the aforementioned degree programs that are entirely taught in English at the University of Padua. Note that applicants can apply to up to three degree programs.

Additional Considerations: Factors such as community service, leadership skills, and motivation levels will also be evaluated.

Academic Merit: Selection will be based on academic excellence.

Documentation: Applicants must provide a high school certificate or its equivalent.

Full-time Enrollment: Students must enroll full-time in the Honours program for the semester in which the scholarship is awarded.

Personal Skills: Exceptional personal attributes such as emotional maturity, motivation, and perseverance will be considered.

Transcripts: A high school transcript and/or GSE results are required (if the transcript is not in English, a certified translation must also be provided).

Selection Requirements

The Academic Committee for each degree program will select eligible candidates based on their academic excellence, potential in the chosen field of study, and the quality of their previous academic performance.
