University of Westminster – LandSec PG Scholarship

The University of Westminster is excited to partner with Landsec, the UK’s leading commercial property development and investment company, to offer a fully funded scholarship aimed at supporting diversity and inclusion in higher education. Through the Landsec Futures Programme, this initiative focuses on empowering underrepresented groups by providing vital financial assistance to students aspiring to enter the real estate industry.

This prestigious scholarship is available to one Home Fee Master’s student who identifies as Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic (BAME) and/or female, with an offer to study the MSc Real Estate Development course at the University of Westminster.

By offering this scholarship, both the University of Westminster and Landsec are demonstrating a strong commitment to fostering diversity in the real estate sector, ensuring that students from historically underrepresented backgrounds can access the education and resources necessary to succeed in this competitive field.

Benefit:

Tuition Coverage: The successful applicants will receive £10,000 in total. The stipend will be divided into two segments. £5000 will be paid into your nominated bank account in October, and £5000 in January.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this University of Westmister/Landsec scholarship, you must: 

  • Be a Home student for fee purposes and have an offer from the University of Westminster for a place on the full-time or part-time Real Estate Development MSc course starting in September 2024
  • Be from a Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic background and/or female student
  • Have a minimum 2.2 Honours Degree 
  • Be the first in your family to go to University 
  • Have a household income of less than £25,000 per annum

You are not eligible to apply if you already have a Postgraduate degree.

Please note that if your course falls into one or more of the below categories then you are not eligible to apply for a scholarship:

  • Postgraduate Diploma 
  • Professional courses (eg RIBA pt III, ACCA, CIMA, CiLEX)
  • Conversion courses (eg Graduate Diploma in Law)
  • Integrated Masters/MPhil/PhD student
